2. Validate or refuse a mission or profile: Status Validation

Status: I am applying: the freelancer definitively validates his/her application with the company, so officially launching the collaboration.

Status: I am not interested: the freelancer definitively declines the company's offer.

Status: Reject this candidate: the company definitively rejects the application of a freelancer.

Status: Choose this candidate: the company definitively validates the freelancer's application, therefore formalizing the start of the collaboration.

1. Registration

a. Who can use JEM?

JEM brings together a community of freelancers specialized in the tertiary sector in Switzerland and in border regions divided into four main categories: Marketing & Communication, Data, IT & Web, HR & Legal, Business & Strategy.

If you are a freelancer and you operate in one of these categories, and you have a valid work permit or in the process of being validated as well as proof of address, welcome to JEM!

If your area of expertise is not among our categories, explore the other opportunities offered by the Interiman group and its 14 companies specializing in professional placement

b. How to register?

Enter your email and password then validate your registration in your email box.

When creating your account, we ask you to provide information that will allow us to:

  • • Certify your profile and make it public
  • • Contact you when you receive a relevant project
  • • Connect you with clients who are looking for your skills

c. My registration was refused, why?

At JEM, the quality of profiles is essential.

Your registration may be refused if:

  • • Your mandatory documents are not up to date
  • • Your profile does not match the platform
2. Profile

a. How to complete your profile?

Enter your personal and professional information from your profile by clicking on “Make my profile public” for a guided process or directly from the sections of your personal space.

The information requested includes:

  • • Mandatory documents for a certified and visible profile: work permit and proof of address.
  • • A profile photo.
  • • A description of your profile.
  • • Your skills (technical skills, transversal skills, tools and languages).
  • • Your experience.
  • • Your education.
  • • Your working method (mission duration, activity rate, invoicing method, etc.).
  • • Your useful documents (CV, portfolio, etc.).

b. How to obtain a certified profile?

At JEM, the quality of profiles is essential. In order to promote Swiss excellence and guarantee local service, we ask you to provide documents allowing us to verify the suitability of your profile with our selection criteria.

Mandatory documents:

  • • Work permit*
  • • Proof of address

* You do not yet have a work permit: check the box “I do not yet have a work permit, and I would like to be contacted”. Our teams will contact you to create your profile together.

Once the documents have been downloaded, the JEM teams take care of analyzing them to validate them and certify your profile.

Your profile will only be visible on the platform after validation of the mandatory documents by our team. You will then be able to access your personal space, complete it to enhance it, and consult the missions posted by companies in order to apply

c. If your profile is not certified, you will not be able to benefit from the platform's services. It means that:

d. How can I optimize the visibility of my profile?

By completing your profile as much as possible and keeping it regularly updated, you will optimize its visibility with companies as well as for the most relevant projects. To do this, go directly to your profile and make sure to fill out all sections, including skills, education, experience and required documents

e. Who can see my JEM profile?

Visitors to the JEM platform can obtain an overview of your profile with certain elements such as sector of activity, city, and the 5 key areas of expertise, while preserving your confidentiality. Your entire profile is visible only to JEM member companies.

f. My profile was deleted, why?

At JEM, the quality of profiles is essential. Our teams of experts regularly analyze them and are authorized to delete your account in the event of content that is irrelevant to the use of the platform.

3. Missions

a. How to find a mission?

Carry out a search via our search engine by clicking on “Search for a mission” from your personal space, use the filters to bring up projects that may interest you, then click on “I apply”. The company will be notified of your interest and will validate your request or not.

b. Can I refuse a project?

Of course, you don't have to accept every project that comes your way. If the project doesn't match your skills, your schedule is too busy, or you're just not interested, you can report it. You can decline the offer by clicking on “I am not interested” either via messaging or via your missions table.

c. How does the validation of a mission take place?

You have applied for a mission or a company has sent you a request for collaboration. You then have several options:

  • • Exchange via personal messaging with the company about the mission that interests you or that has been offered to you in order to confirm your interest and start the collaboration.
  • • Refuse the mission directly from your personal space

d. How does a mission unfold?

Once the collaboration has been validated between the company and the freelancer, exchanges between the two parties can continue on the JEM messaging system in their personal discussion. You can also exit the platform if you prefer to work with other collaborative tools, via your email inbox, by telephone or even in person. Your conversation will remain open and saved on the platform. As for invoicing, it depends on whether you choose to use payrolling via SPS or independent management.

e. How do I manage my missions on a daily basis?

You can follow the progress of your projects by accessing the “My missions” tab. You will have access to the list of all your missions, currently under discussion, proposals received.

f. I can't find a mission that suits me

The JEM search tool includes a number of filters allowing you to select the characteristics of a mission, ranging from the skills required to years of experience, including the sector of activity sought. Use these filters to find the mission that matches your profile. If you don't find any results, don't hesitate to modify your search keywords with synonyms or broaden your filter criteria. Also consider completing your profile further to boost your visibility with companies.

4. Invoicing by SPS

a. How is my mission billed?

The JEM platform does not take care of the invoicing part between companies and freelancers. To do this, two options are available to you:

  • 1. Have recourse to the services of our payrolling company SPS (Interiman group), for complete support of your administrative management linked to this mission, ranging from the creation of the contract to invoicing through the payment of the salary.
  • 2. Opt for an external solution. In the event of non-payment by the company, and in the absence of use of the SPS solution, the JEM platform disclaims all liability

b. I didn't get paid

Have you carried out a mission on behalf of a company via our platform but have not been paid?

  • 1. You have opted for a payrolling solution via SPS prior to your collaboration: contact our teams to resolve the problem.
  • 2. You have opted for a management and invoicing solution independent of SPS: unfortunately, the JEM platform cannot do anything for you.

c. What is the link between SPS and JEM?

JEM is a tool from the payrolling company SPS which allows freelancers and the companies that commission them to concentrate on the agreed mission by eliminating risks, particularly linked to invoicing, as well as administrative hassles. The administrative management of your missions is entrusted to our experts.

We strongly recommend that you take advantage of SPS services, with personalized support managed by a team of experts, for 100% secure collaboration.

d. Why contract via SPS / Why JEM recommends a payrolling solution via SPS?

Collaboration with complete peace of mind with guaranteed invoicing!

The profiles are verified by our teams before being made public on the JEM platform. However, administrative elements linked to contracts and means of payment are not verified.

To avoid unpaid bills or fraudulent profiles, we recommend including a payrolling solution via SPS in your collaborations.

Once the collaboration is concluded on the JEM platform, the SPS company contacts you to support you in the administrative management of your mission, ranging from the creation of your contract with the company to invoicing. Monitoring is provided by a dedicated expert for a percentage of your price.

e. How does invoicing work with SPS?

The JEM platform does not take care of the invoicing part between companies and freelancers. For this, we recommend a payrolling solution with our company SPS. This guarantees you complete support for your administrative management linked to your mission, from contract creation to invoicing.

f. Can I have JEM missions with payrolling via SPS and some without?

Yes, you can absolutely have JEM missions in payrolling and other professional missions managed independently. Please note: In the event of a billing problem, the JEM platform will not be held responsible.

5. Search engine

How does the search engine work?

To use our search engine, go to the “Search for a mission” section. You can find a project by entering a sector of activity or type of mission in the search bar.

All matching missions will be displayed, and you will have the opportunity to refine your search. For example, you can choose to only display long-term missions, in remote format, or those with companies using payrolling.

You can then browse among the different missions and contact the companies by clicking on the “This mission interests me” button. Your application will be automatically added to your dashboard

6. Messaging

I can no longer find a conservation in the messaging system?

When the mission is closed, the discussion is directly archived. You keep the exchange history but can no longer contact the company.

If a freelancer is not selected for the project by the company, the conversation is closed and disappears from their inbox.

Likewise, if the freelancer does not validate the mission, the conversation is closed and disappears from their email

7. Settings

a. Change my first and/or last name

You have the option to choose how to display your identity on JEM. To do this, access your account settings, then go to the 'Change settings' section

b. Change my email

To change the email address associated with your JEM account, please go to your account settings, then access the 'Change settings' section

c. Change your password

To change the password associated with your JEM account, please go to your account settings, then access the 'Change password' section. You will need to enter your old password and then enter your new password.

If you cannot remember your current password, click on 'I forgot my password' and provide the email address associated with your JEM account. You will then receive an automatic email allowing you to reset your password

d. How do I manage my notifications?

Check your notifications from your email box or directly from your profile by clicking on the icon at the top right of your screen.

Currently, notification management is not available, but we are actively working on improving this feature to give you a more complete experience.

e. Delete my account

To delete your account, go to the Settings section and click on the “Delete my account” tab.

We will ask you to indicate the reason for your departure. Once this step has been completed, a red button will appear at the bottom of the page to confirm the deletion of your account.

Once this action has been carried out, your account, your profile, as well as your identification and navigation data will be permanently deleted from our databases. All your information will also be deleted from our email databases.

Once the account is deleted, it will no longer be possible to recover your data.

1. REGISTRATION

a. Who can use JEM?

  • • Contact you when you wish to exchange with a freelancer.
  • • Put you in touch with freelancers corresponding to your missions
2. PROFILE

a. How to complete your profile?

To complete your profile and provide information relating to your position and your company, simply click on “My company” and fill in the different fields. This step is essential to generate interest among freelancers in collaborating with you.

The information requested is as follows:

  • • Company presentation
  • • Logo
  • • Address
  • • Activity area
  • • Website

b. How to have a certified profile?

At JEM, the quality of profiles is essential. In order to promote Swiss excellence and guarantee local service, we invite you to provide your registration number to check if your company matches our selection criteria.

Once you have provided it, our teams will take care to verify this information to certify your company profile.

Your profile will only be visible on the platform after validation of this information by our teams. At that time, you will have access to your personal space to complete your profile and optimize its visibility. You will also be able to view freelancers' profiles and post your first mission.

c. What happens if my profile is not certified?

If you do not enter your registration number, your profile cannot be validated or certified by our teams. Consequently, you will not be able to benefit from the services of the platform:

  • • Your profile will remain invisible.
  • • You will not be able to view the profiles of freelancers registered on the platform.
  • • You will not be able to post missions.
  • • You will not be able to interact with freelancers.
  • • You will not be able to enter into collaboration with freelancers

d. Who can see my JEM profile?

Visitors to the JEM platform can have an overview of your missions with certain elements such as the logo and the name of the mission in order to preserve your confidentiality. Your entire profile and posted missions are visible only to freelance members of JEM

At JEM, the quality of profiles and missions is essential. Our teams of experts regularly analyze them and reserve the right to delete your account in the event of content that is irrelevant to the use of the platform.

3. MISSIONS & FREELANCERS

a. How to create and post a mission?

Directly from your account page, click on “Create a mission” in the banner at the top of the page. Mission creation is divided into 4 stages:

b. How can I optimize the visibility of my mission?

By completing all fields of your mission, providing a complete and detailed description of the project, listing all the necessary skills, and also completing your company profile to reinforce your professionalism.

To do this, go directly to your profile in the “Manage your missions” and “My company” sections, or access it directly from your personal space.

c. How to find a freelancer?

Carry out a search via our search engine by clicking on “Search for a freelancer” from your personal space, use the filters to bring up profiles likely to match your needs, then click on “This profile interests me”. The freelancer will be notified of your interest and will validate your request or not.

d. How to follow the progress of applications:

You can follow the status of applications by accessing the “Manage your missions” section. Select the corresponding mission, then click on the “View candidates” button to view the profile statuses:

  • • Proposal sent: Waiting for validation from the freelancer.
  • • Proposal received: It's up to you to validate the profile or not.
  • • Under discussion: You are in discussion with the freelancer to validate or not the collaboration.

Thanks to this feature, you will be able to know if a freelancer is interested in your project, as well as whether or not they accept your proposal

e. How does the validation of a profile work?

You can validate or refuse the application in two different ways:

  • • In the “Messaging” tab: Select the conversation with the freelancer, then click on “Choose this candidate” or “Discard this candidate” depending on your choice.
  • • In the “Manage your missions” tab: Select the corresponding mission, click on “View candidates”, then on “Choose this candidate” or “Discard this candidate” depending on your choice.

If you decide to validate this profile and begin the collaboration, we recommend that you contact SPS to take care of the administrative management of this collaboration (creation, contract management, invoicing, etc.)

f. How do I manage my missions on a daily basis?

You can monitor the progress of your projects by accessing the “Manage your missions” tab. You will then have access to the complete list of all your missions, whether they are in draft, in progress or validated.

g. Can I refuse an application?

If the profile does not match your expectations and your needs, you are free to refuse an application. You can indicate it in the messaging or directly from the “Manage your missions” section

h. What happens to my mission once the freelance profile is validated?

Once a profile has been validated, other freelancers interested in the mission will be informed by email of your choice, and the mission will disappear from the platform's search engines. Only you and the freelancer with whom you have decided to work will be able to access it from the “manage your missions” tab.

i. How does the collaboration work?

Once the agreement is concluded between the company and the freelancer, exchanges between the two parties can continue on the JEM messaging system in their personal discussion. You also have the possibility of working with other collaborative tools outside the platform, whether via your email, by telephone or in person. Your conversation will remain open and saved on the platform. As for invoicing, it will depend on your choice between using payrolling via SPS or independent management

Do you want to change your registration number? Click on the “Contact Us” section at the bottom of the page. Our JEM teams will get back to you as soon as possible to make the necessary modifications.

c. Change your password

To change the password associated with your JEM account, go to your account settings, then access the “Change password” section. You will need to enter your old password and then set your new password.

If you no longer remember your current password, click on “I forgot my password” and provide the email associated with your JEM account to receive an automatic email allowing you to reset your password.

d. How do I manage my notifications?
